Helen Corke

Hi my name is Helen Corke and I have been involved with the Jamieson Way Community Centre Board of Management since it opened in September 2005.  I started as a general member representing playgroup.  As the community grew I wanted to become more involved with the community centre and have a say in what programs the centre offered.  I relinquished my role with playgroup and continued as a general member on the board of management.  Along with other board members, I have helped to implement a diverse range of programs from senior’s yoga to photography to Cookie Kids which is a three year old kinder program.

I look forward to watching the community centre evolve to meet the changing needs of the community around it and having a say in meeting those needs.
